Rules of the Club

Amateur boxing is a skill-based sport with strict rules and safety precautions. It ranks amongst the safest of contact sports (such as football and rugby) with lower injury rates than football, hockey, gymnastics and roller skating. In fact amateur boxing rates as the 75th least dangerous sport in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents table.

Further information regarding the rules, regulations and procedures of the sport can be found on the ABAE (Amateur Boxing Association of England) web page.
