Hastings West Hill ABC - Rules

Rules of the Gym

A coach's decision is final.
At all times attend to the coach's instruction.
Respect club officials, fellow boxers and visitors at all times.
Respect local residents, enter and leave the club in an orderly quiet manner.
Members who bring the club into disrepute by their actions in or away from the club premises will be liable to disciplinary action; you are an ambassador of the club at all times.
Do not leave the gym without informing a club official.
Respect and return all equipment at the end of training.
Respect the property of others.
Do not bring valuables to the gym.
Discriminatory language or behaviour will NOT be tolerated.
Foul or abusive language will NOT be tolerated.
Bullying will NOT be tolerated.
Keep the gym, toilet and changing areas neat and tidy at all times.
No food, chewing gum or drink (except water) is to be brought into the gym.
If you are ill do NOT attend the gym.
Annual membership must be paid before entry to the gym will be granted.
Subs of £1.50 for juniors and £2.50 for seniors (17 years or over) will be paid on entry to the gym before training commences.

Rules at Shows and Championships

All rules of the gym apply when attending shows or competitions; you are an ambassador of the club at all times.
Treat opponents with respect.
Encourage your team mates.
Any behaviour of a club member or member’s relation/friend/supporter that harms the club will result in disciplinary action, including revocation of membership.
Boxers will only wear club colours when boxing, which are Green and White unless otherwise directed to wear red or blue vests during competition.

IGNORING THE RULES WILL LEAD TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION INCLUDING THE POSSIBILITY OF SUSPENSION OR DISMISSAL.
